Making the long haul again

I decided to make the journey down to Iran again this summer. I couldn’t have picked a better time with Iran being in the news 24/7 theses days with nothing but bad news. It just seems like the perfect time for me to go since the last day of my job and school is in the middle of May. I already purchased my tickets and my flight details are as follows:

Depart San Francisco, CA on May 22nd at 3:10pm (I wanted to leave from Sacramento but most flights using this route usually had an extra layover in the states somewhere and cost more $$$)

Arrive Amsterdam on May 23rd at 10:25am

Depart Amsterdam at 6:15pm (8 HOUR layover)

Arrive Tehran, Iran on May 24th at 12:55am

Total travel time ~23hours

Flight details for when I leave:

Depart Tehran, Iran on July 7th at 5:40am

Arrive Amsterdam at 10:10am

Depart Amsterdam at 11:10am

Arrive San Francisco at 1:05pm

Total travel time: ~18hours

Total price: $1399
